What a beautiful way to start the season. Well done Girls!
A little kinder 12pm start than last year’s 8am! After the Gala day last weekend we were amazed at the confidence that the girls still had after the summer break and we started our first game of the season on fire!
First goal from the centre pass, a massive BIG ring shot from Jemma. She put up a couple more like that.
Our two newbies, Kayla and Emma, slotted in like they had been Windsors from the start. Although we had 90% of the play with great defence from Skye, Indy, Grace, Kate and Emma, we struggled to get the points on the board in the beginning but a quick shuffle around in the last quarter saw Kayla, Emma, Kenz and Skye combine in attack wonderfully.
Good job to Kayla who was awarded the first Team Player Trophy!
